The Desperate Rebirth of a Professional Loser: Don Lemon Gets Taken to Church
Don Lemon barged into that church as though it was opening night for a confessional booth glory hole. Oh, wait, this was not a Catholic Church. If it were, the people would have crucified him…with a real crucifix too. However, it would have been a great venue for performing an exorcism on this little devil.
Don Lemon is the kind of man who would light his own house on fire just so he could stand in the front yard and report on the smoke. After being dumped by CNN and humiliated on the national stage, he has finally found a new way to stay relevant by becoming an accessory to a criminal attack on a house of worship. Last night, federal agents finally caught up with him in Los Angeles. Attorney General Pam Bondi didn’t just order his arrest; she took him to church. She did what every common-sense American has wanted to do for a decade—she held him accountable for his actions. Lemon spent years lecturing us from a teleprompter about “decency,” yet there he was in Minnesota, embedded with a group of radicals who rushed into a service at Cities Church to harass people while they prayed.

Bondi saw right through his “pseudo-journalism” act. She knows, and we know, that he wasn’t there to report the news. He was there to manufacture it. He wanted the confrontation. He wanted the maximum outrage impact.
When Bondi went on Fox and dismantled his pathetic excuses, she showed the world exactly what he is: a washed-up anchor who is so desperate for a camera that he’ll violate the sanctity of a church to get one. In a moment of peak narcissism, Lemon once said, “Gimme some of that old time religion.” Well, he got it. He got the kind of old-time religion that comes with a pair of handcuffs and a federal indictment. He wanted to play the martyr, and now he’s going to milk this for every cent of “independent” donor money he can get his hands on. He is a parasite who feeds on chaos.
Bondi didn’t just defend a church; she defended the rule of law against a man who thinks his former press pass is a license to trespass and terrorize. Lemon is currently sitting in a cell in Los Angeles where he belongs. He can try to wrap himself in the First Amendment all he wants, but the First Amendment does not give you the right to disrupt a prayer service or lead a mob into a sanctuary. Don Lemon wanted to be the story. Now he is. He’s the face of a desperate, dying media class that has decided that if they can’t lead the country, they’ll just try to burn it down. He is a lightweight, a loser, and now, a federal defendant. Pam Bondi gave him exactly what he asked for. She gave him that “old time religion,” and it looks a lot like justice.

“But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.” — Matthew 6:6
WHY THIS VERSE: This verse is the ultimate rebuke to Lemon’s brand of performative Christianity. True faith is humble and private, seeking God in the quiet moments. Lemon, however, uses the church as a soundstage and prayer as a prop for his cameras. He does not seek God. He seeks a viral clip, proving he doesn’t understand the first thing about the religion he claims to practice.
LET US PRAY:
Lord, we ask for protection over our sanctuaries and the families who seek peace within them. Expose the hypocrites who use Your name for profit and power. Strengthen those who stand for the truth and grant us the wisdom to see through the lies of the desperate. Amen.
