In her quest to eliminate rule of law and accountability, Mikie Sherrill, New Jersey’s newly elected dunce Governor, is giving the STASI of old a run for their money. Hey, if you want to be a criminal, New Jersey and you are PERFECT TOGETHER—but it’s all topsy-turvy. It is an easy way to understand why and how the bad guys make the good guys look like the bad guys. Pay attention, because there are people who will tell you the complete opposite.
The Stasi, or Ministry for State Security, was the ruthless secret police and intelligence agency of communist East Germany from 1950 to 1990. Known as the “shield and sword of the party,” they used a massive network of over 90,000 employees and thousands of informants to surveil, intimidate, and suppress the population. Why do I use that word to describe certain far-left politicians? Because they are using the exact same playbook.
The Stasi Playbook: Why They Kept Lists
Just like mentally-messed-up Kathy Griffin recently asked YOU to do by writing down names or making note of anyone you suspect is MAGA, the Stasi didn’t just want names-they wanted leverage. They compiled dossiers on roughly one-third of the entire population of East Germany for three main reasons:
Zersetzung (Decomposition): This was their most famous tactic. Instead of arresting you, they used the information on their lists to “decompose” your life. They would use your “non-conforming” views to get you fired, alienate your friends, and even turn your children against you. The goal was to destroy your spirit without ever making you a “martyr.”
Institutional Gatekeeping: If your name was on the “wrong” list, you were effectively a second-class citizen. You couldn’t get a promotion, your kids couldn’t get into the best schools, and you were barred from certain professions. In modern-day China, the communist party does this by using something called a “social credit score.” (You can look that up yourself)
Manufacturing Paranoia: By encouraging neighbors to report on neighbors, they created a culture of self-censorship. You never knew if your best friend or your brother was the one who put your name on the list.
The Modern Parallel: Digital Hit Jobs When left-wing activists tell their followers to “write down names,” they are attempting a digital version of Zersetzung. They aren’t looking for “crimes”; they are looking for wrongthink. Just like the Stasi, they want to use that information to pressure employers to fire people (the modern “cancel culture”) and to socially isolate anyone who doesn’t bow to the progressive narrative. By calling on fans to be “citizen journalists” or spies, they are trying to recreate that atmosphere of paranoia where you have to look over your shoulder at the grocery store or at work.
The “Daily Show” Delusion
New Jersey was once a place where the social contract was written in stone: you work hard, you follow the rules, and the state protects your right to live in peace. Today, under Governor Sherrill, that contract has been shredded. Instead of facing her constituents in a town hall, Sherrill chose to announce her most radical plans on The Daily Show. It was a pathetic display of a leader hiding in an echo chamber, treating the safety of New Jerseyans as a punchline for a room full of clapping seals.

It is a sure sign that she has no clue how to read the room—this is freaking New Jersey, not a Brooklyn coffee shop. Her inability to engage with anyone outside of the liberal “prestige” media shows a dangerous lack of accountability to the huge bulk of her constituents who actually have to live with the consequences of her madness.
The “Snitch Portal” During that appearance, Sherrill unveiled a plan that would make the East German Stasi green with envy: a state-run web portal where residents are urged to “get their phones out” and upload videos of federal immigration agents. This incentivizes citizens to act as amateur spies, tracking and unmasking law enforcement agents. At the same time, she is pushing Senate Bill S5038 to turn the “Immigrant Trust Directive” into permanent law, legally shackling our police and forbidding them from cooperating with ICE—even when they have a violent predator in their sights.
Real New Jersey Wants Safe Streets, Not Sanctuaries The most vile aspect of this insanity is the creation of a two-tiered system of justice. It translates to a terrifying reality: only the law-abiding working class—the black and white families who actually keep the gears of this state turning—will ever face the law.
While the administration protects those who view our laws as mere suggestions, the decent man who follows the rules is squeezed until his pips squeak.
Governor Sherrill needs to wake up and realize that real New Jerseyans – from the diners in Jersey City to the ferries in Cape May – don’t want their state turned into a “sanctuary” for those who break the law. They want safe streets, they want their police to be able to do their jobs without being hunted by “snitch portals,” and they want the same accountability applied to everyone. If Mikie Sherrill wants to keep performing for Jon Stewart, she should move to Hollywood. Over there in the Garden State, they’re tired of the circus, and they’re ready for the sanity of the law to return.

Why this verse? This is the biblical diagnosis for what you are seeing. It is a spirit of delusion that convinces leaders they are “enlightened” while they are actually tearing down the foundations of the house.
LET US PRAY
Lord, we ask for a restoration of sanity to our halls of power. Grant our leaders a “sound mind” and the discernment to know that a society without law is a society without a future. Protect the families who are being sacrificed on the altar of this demented ideology, and let the light of truth expose the madness for what it is. Amen.
