Let’s talk about the lowest form of political pornography currently circulating on social media: the endless parade of mouth-breathing morons crowing “KARMA!” over Héctor Luis Valdés Cocho, the so-called “founder of Latinos for Trump” who supposedly got deported back to Cuba.
These Karma Carnies (let’s coin that) aren’t just wrong. They’re aggressively stupid, proudly illiterate, and so desperate for a win that they’ll celebrate a fabricated deportation story like it’s the Second Coming of Watergate.

Cocho is a Cuban exile who arrived in the United States in January 2022. He’s a loud, obnoxious Trump supporter—fine. He got arrested in late 2024 on state-level fraud charges in Florida. People he solicited donations from accused him of running scams under the guise of anti-communist activism. Add some traffic violations. ICE took custody because his immigration status was shaky. That’s it. That’s the whole story.
He was never the “founder” of any official Latinos for Trump organization. That title is pure internet fiction—Snopes, Lead Stories, and every half-serious fact-checker shredded it months ago. The groups he supposedly “founded” existed years before he even set foot in this country. Yet the same drooling specimens who claim to “trust science” and “follow the facts” keep slapping “Founder of Latinos for Trump” on every meme like it’s gospel.

The worst offenders congregate in cesspools like the Facebook group “God, we Hate Trump” (417,000+ likes, because misery loves company). There you’ll find the same recycled Photoshop garbage: Cocho’s face crudely pasted onto old ICE arrest photos, fake “Latinos for Trump” logos, doctored rally signs, even a laughable image of him on a plane with Trump’s face in the cockpit window. They post it, tag it #FAFO, #KarmaIsABitch, #HeVotedForThis, and then pat each other on the back like they just exposed the deep state. They don’t link sources. They don’t check dates. They don’t even read the Snopes article they sometimes screenshot and crop to hide the part that says “false” or “unfounded.” They just vomit the lie and move on to the next one.
