Believe all women… until the accused is a Democrat
By: Daiman Teer for The Simpleton Star
If you want to see how fast a Liberal’s “principles” can evaporate, just put one of their own in a pair of handcuffs. The local circus known as the Ayers Ratliff trial finally folded its tent this week, and the stench of hypocrisy left behind is stronger than a Marion County landfill in mid-July. For two years, we’ve been lectured by the blue-picket-fence crowd about “toxic masculinity” and the “sacred duty” to believe every accusation without question. But the second a Democrat councilman was the one facing the music, those same “justice warriors” turned into a pack of snarling conspiracy theorists faster than you can say “partisan witch hunt.”

Let’s call it what it is: The Ratliff pass. If this had been a Republican with a “Trump” sticker on his bumper, the local Leftists would have been out for blood. They would have been demanding life without parole before the jury even finished their morning coffee. But because Ratliff wears the right political jersey, the 13-year-old girl at the center of this mess was immediately demoted from “victim” to “political pawn.” Suddenly, the same people who want to “Defund the Police” are experts on “prosecutorial overreach” and “police coercion.” It’s enough to make a vulture gag. They don’t want justice; they want their guy to get away with it so they can thumb their noses at Republican Prosecutor Ray Grogan.
The Facebook feed is currently a cesspool of “Told-You-So’s” from people who wouldn’t know the truth if it bit them on their “Coexist” bumper stickers. They’re cheering for a “Not Guilty” verdict like they just won the Super Bowl, completely ignoring the fact that a child’s life was dragged through a two-year legal meat grinder. To the “progressive” elite, that girl’s trauma was only useful as long as it didn’t implicate one of their “good guys.” The second it did, she became an inconvenience to be explained away by “political motivation.” It’s a disgusting double standard that proves these people don’t have a moral bone in their bodies—just a political one.
While they’re busy high-fiving over a legal technicality, the rest of us are left watching the death of consistency. These people have spent years trying to dismantle the “Old Boys’ Club,” only to build a new one out of donkey-blue bricks. They’ve proven that “Law and Order” is just a suggestion when your campaign contributors are the ones in the hot seat. It’s a pathetic, transparent display of tribalism that treats a courtroom like a pep rally.
From the Desk of the Editor: A Note to the “Moral Majority” of Marion
We’ve received a lot of emails today from local “activists” telling us to “respect the verdict.” Funny, we don’t remember those same activists respecting the verdict when it came to anyone with an (R) next to their name. In fact, we seem to remember them calling for the complete dismantling of the judicial system about three weeks ago. It’s funny how the “system” only works when it’s protecting a Democrat. We’d tell you to look in a mirror, but we’re afraid the reflection of your own hypocrisy might actually crack the glass. Keep your “victory” posts; the rest of us are busy worrying about the next kid who gets ignored because their attacker has the right political friends.

BIBLE VERSE:
“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.” (Isaiah 5:20).
This verse is a blistering indictment of the exact brand of moral gymnastics we are seeing today. When you celebrate a “win” for your political team while trampling over the concept of truth, you are flipping the moral order of the universe. Calling a questionable acquittal “good” just because it hurts your political rivals is the definition of putting darkness for light. You aren’t “victorious”; you’re just lost in the bitter landscape of your own bias.
LET US PRAY:
Lord, please protect us from the “Believe All Victims” crowd who suddenly developed amnesia the moment a Democrat got indicted. Give us the strength to endure the shrieking hypocrites on social media who worship their political party more than the truth, and keep us safe from the “Little People” in power who think a teenager’s life is just a scorecard for their next election cycle. Amen.
