Margaret Brennan’s tenure as host of CBS’s Face the Nation has become a textbook example of mainstream media’s deep dysfunction. Her interviews routinely display a convoluted and demented style that twists facts, deflects accountability, and reveals a tacit hostility toward President Trump, his administration, and core American interests.
This is not rigorous journalism. It is activist framing dressed in Sunday-morning politeness, and it taints public discourse with woke, leftist stupidity. CBS should fire her without delay.
Consider the December 7, 2025, interview with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent which has resurfaced on different aspect of social media.
The discussion centered on the massive Minnesota welfare fraud scandal – one of the largest COVID-era thefts in the nation, involving billions in taxpayer dollars allegedly siphoned through state programs, with much of the money reportedly wired overseas to Somalia and other locations. Many of those charged were tied to Minnesota’s Somali immigrant community. Bessent spoke plainly about the need for accountability and following the money trail. Brennan’s immediate response was classic whataboutism: she pivoted to insist that “plenty of criminal behavior” exists “from communities well beyond the immigrant community.”
Rather than press for details on the scale, the overseas transfers, potential national security implications, or the political connections involved, Brennan, a complete zombie of woke retardation, rushed to dilute the specific scandal. Basically, she acted like an angry housewife getting in a last, meaningless dig.
This reflexive deflection protects a drowning narrative rather than pursuing truth. It signals discomfort with any examination of immigration-related patterns or failures of integration, even when taxpayer money is at stake.
This pattern repeats a few months later because that’s what the leftist shills like Margaret Brennan do. This is her shtick.
In February 2025, during an interview with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Brennan claimed that “free speech was weaponized” in Nazi Germany to conduct the Holocaust. Rubio correctly pushed back reminding this dumb-broad dunce that there was no free speech under the Nazi regime — it was an authoritarian dictatorship that suppressed opposition. Brennan’s historical distortion was not a minor slip; it was an attempt to equate concerns about modern censorship with the crimes of the Nazis, a smear tactic frequently aimed at Trump supporters defending free expression.
Such blindly stupid commentary undermines serious debate and reveals ideological blinders.Her moderation of the 2024 vice presidential debate further exposed the bias. Despite CBS’s promise of no live fact-checking by moderators, Brennan interjected to “clarify” JD Vance’s comments on Haitian migrants in Springfield, Ohio, leading to mics being cut during the exchange. The move violated the agreed ground rules and inserted her as an arbiter rather than a neutral facilitator. Brennan does this partly out of malice and hatred towards Trump, but mostly because she is the proverbial dumb broad who has been allowed to speak into a microphone before millions of people.
Time after time, Brennan deploys gotcha questions and condescending interruptions with Trump administration officials while offering softer framing elsewhere. The cumulative effect is a presentation that erodes trust in institutions and fuels public cynicism.
In short, Margaret Brennan -one the dumbest of the dumb broads – should be fired. She is dangerous and unwholesome, and Americans should not be exposed to her.
