Jane Fonda’s career is a masterclass in how elite privilege serves as a bulletproof vest against accountability. For decades, she has paraded her narcissism under the guise of activism, yet the core of her identity remains rooted in a singular, unforgivable act of betrayal.
While American sons were enduring unspeakable torture in North Vietnamese prison camps, Fonda was posing for photos on an anti-aircraft gun used to shoot them down. In any other era, and for any person without a famous last name, that isn’t “protest”—it’s treason.
Oddly enough, Google makes that infamous photo of Jane, sitting atop an anti-aircaft gun, difficult to find. It’s almost as though Google is sanitizing Jane Fonda’s life – it’s like Google is shilling for a traitorous monster. Why would they do that? The answer is simple: Google is helping Jane — giving aid and comfort to an enemy just like Jane did for the North Vietnamese army. Google is no different than Jane Fonda.

Her longevity in Hollywood is an insult to every veteran who ever wore the uniform. She didn’t just disagree with a war; she aided and abetted an enemy that was actively killing her countrymen. Yet, she transitioned seamlessly from a traitorous radical to a workout queen, and finally to a “revered” elder stateswoman of the screen. This isn’t growth; it’s a calculated shell game. She uses her father’s legacy as a weapon, seemingly desperate to outdo his shadow by burning down the very values he often represented on screen.

Lately, her antics have shifted into the digital space, where she partners with equally grating figures to lecture the masses on morality. Her latest social media campaigns are a frantic, hollow display of relevance-seeking. At her age, most people find a modicum of wisdom or at least a quiet grace. Instead, Fonda remains locked in a state of perpetual, screeching adolescence. This refusal to evolve suggests more than just a political leaning; it points to a fundamental Rigidity of Character—an inability to process the reality of her past crimes or the harm she has caused. She is stuck in a loop of self-importance that borders on an organic disconnect from reality.

Equally baffling are the simpletons who continue to line her pockets. Every time someone buys a ticket to one of her “phoned-in” comedies or praises her “bravery,” they are complicit in the erasure of history. They treat her like a harmless eccentric aunt rather than the calculated operative she was. She hasn’t changed because she’s never been forced to. She remains a monster of her own making, fueled by a lifelong vanity that demands the spotlight, even if that light is cast by the fires of the country she once betrayed.

BIBLE VERSE:
Proverbs 16:18 “Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.”
WHY I CHOSE THIS VERSE:
This verse perfectly encapsulates the trajectory of a life lived in service of the self. Fonda’s “haughty spirit” allowed her to look down upon the suffering of American soldiers from the height of her own perceived moral superiority. It serves as a reminder that regardless of fame or wealth, the internal destruction caused by unrepentant pride eventually hollows out the soul, leaving nothing but a bitter shell.
A Prayer for Discernment
Lord, grant the people of this nation the clarity to see through the curated images of celebrity and the lies of those who hate our foundations. We pray for the veterans who still carry the scars of the era Jane Fonda exploited, and we ask for the strength to ignore the frantic cries of those who seek only to divide and destroy for their own glory. Let us treat the words of the bitter and the unrepentant as the noise they are, and may we focus our hearts on the truth that sustains a righteous people. Amen.
