Why these duplicitous political scum bags think you’re too stupid to remember the garbage they said yesterday. Let’s go to the video tape.

The modern American politician doesn’t just lie anymore. They operate with a level of sociopathic confidence that suggests they believe the rest of us have literally lost our ability to remember things from six months ago. It’s a special kind of arrogance to stand in front of a microphone and say the exact opposite of what you said a year ago without so much as a blink or a blush. They aren’t even trying to hide the grift anymore because they’ve got a media apparatus that functions like a collective of high-priced defense attorneys.
Take Chuck Schumer for instance. Back in the nineties, Chuck was out there sounding like a border hawk. He stood on the floor and argued that we couldn’t have a country if we didn’t have a border. He was all for voter ID because he said it was common sense to prove who you are when you’re participating in the most sacred part of a democracy. Now, Chuck looks into the camera with those little glasses perched on the end of his nose and tells us that wanting to see an ID is basically an act of domestic terrorism. He didn’t “evolve” his position. He just realized that the old position didn’t help him keep his gavel, so he threw his principles into the trash and hoped nobody kept the tapes.

LIAR – LIAR – HAIR ON FIRE !
Then you’ve got Kathy Hochul, who’s the queen of the “get out and stay out” strategy until the bills come due. When wealthy New Yorkers were complaining about high taxes and rising crime, she basically told them to pack their bags and head to Florida if they didn’t like her vision for the state. She was smug about it. She was dismissive. Now that the tax revenue has cratered and the city is staring down a massive deficit, she’s suddenly the welcoming committee. She’s practically begging those same people to come back because she realized that her “progressive paradise” can’t actually pay for itself without the very people she insulted. It’s the kind of double-talk that would get you laughed out of any room that isn’t filled with career bureaucrats.
We can’t forget the immigration pivot either. It wasn’t that long ago that every Democrat in a major city was tripping over themselves to declare their “Sanctuary” status. They were proud of it. They put up signs. They gave speeches about how “no human is illegal.” But the moment those buses started pulling up to the Port Authority and the bills started hitting the billions, the tune changed overnight. Suddenly, Eric Adams and Kathy Hochul are telling people that there’s no more room at the inn. They’re pleading for federal help to stop the flow they spent years encouraging. They aren’t sorry for the policy. They’re just mad that they actually have to live with the consequences of their own virtue signaling.

The most insulting part is that they think we’re all too stupid to notice. They rely on the fact that if the mainstream news doesn’t show the side-by-side comparison, it doesn’t exist to the average voter. They’ve turned hypocrisy into a specialized art form where the truth is whatever is convenient for the next twenty-four hours. It’s a parasitic way to lead, and it’s grounded in a total lack of respect for the people they’re supposed to represent. They don’t care about being right. They only care about staying in power, and they’ll say whatever they have to say to make sure the music doesn’t stop.

Proverbs 26:24-25
“He that hateth dissembleth with his lips, and layeth up deceit within him; When he speaketh fair, believe him not: for there are seven abominations in his heart.”
The Meaning:
This verse describes the “dissembler”—the person who uses smooth, fair speech to mask a heart full of lies and shifting agendas. It’s a direct warning that when a person’s words are designed only for the moment, you can’t trust the “fair” things they say today. Their history of deceit tells you everything you need to know about their true character, no matter how much they try to reinvent themselves for the cameras.
The Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we’re tired of being lied to by those who claim to serve us while they’re actually serving themselves. We ask that You’d bring the truth into the light and make it impossible for these liars to hide behind their changing scripts. Give us the wisdom to see through the “fair speech” of those who’ve proven they don’t have a shred of integrity. Protect our country from leaders who’d sell us out for a headline and help us to hold onto what’s real in a world full of fakes. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
