Tennessee just told Aftyn Behn and every woke transplant who voted for her to go f**k themselves. Loudly.
Republican Van Epp beat that smug Democrat Aftyn Behn by almost 6 points in the House District 86 special election. Six points. In a low-turnout race most people didn’t even know was happening. In a district the left swore was “competitive.” That’s not close. That’s a beatdown.
The polls said it was tied. Complete horseshit as always. If this was a normal election with real turnout, the same turnout that gave Trump 20-point wins all over this state, Behn would have lost by 15 or 20. Easy. The only reason she got any votes at all is because Memphis and the urban white wine-mom crowd dragged their asses to the polls for someone who openly hates Tennessee and everything it stands for.
This chick literally campaigned on how much she despises our culture. Said our traditions make her sick. Then begged us to vote for her. And a bunch of suburban white women, the cheap chardonnay type (usually Yellow Tail) and their castrated husbands actually did. Embarrassing.
Here’s why she lost:
Normal people with normal and contented lives are sick of outsiders who move here for cheap living and no income tax, then spend every day trying to turn Tennessee into the same blue shithole they just escaped.
You hate guns? Leave. You hate churches? Leave. You hate sweet tea and country music? Leave. Nobody’s holding you hostage.
Go ahead. Move to Brooklyn. Move to Seattle. Move to whatever overpriced woke sewer you crawled out of. Watch how fast those “progressive” city people treat you like the dumb redneck you are the second you say “y’all.” They’ll mock your accent while they charge you $4,000 a month to live in a shoebox. You’ll fit right in with the rest of the miserable freaks.
Tennessee doesn’t need you. We never wanted you. Rural counties showed up and reminded the cities who actually owns this state. Real Tennesseans told Aftyn Behn and her fans to get bent. And we’ll do it again every single time.
So cry harder. Post your sad little memes. Threaten to leave like you always do. Then, actually leave.
