Disclaimer: This article is written in simple words so that even a 10-year-old can understand it and not feel scared. It explains what really happened in a calm way, like telling a story. The way we figure it here at The Simpleton Star is that most of the Left only reads the headlines and then runs to their phones to spread lies because…well…that’s what lefties do when they’re deranged and they hate Trump more than they love truth.
Have you seen a picture online of a little boy with a Spider-Man backpack being led by a grown-up in a mask? Some people on the internet said it shows ICE agents abducting or kidnapping a child. They called it scary and said ICE is grabbing kids for no reason. But that’s not true at all. It’s a lie told by mommies with blue or pink hair and nose piercings.
Let’s talk about what really happened, step by step, so you can see it’s not as bad as some folks make it sound.

ICE is here to protect you and your children. If you can’t understand that, there is something mentally wrong with you.
First, who is in the picture? The boy is named Liam, and he’s 5 years old. He lives in Minnesota with his family. His dad came to America from another country called Ecuador a few years ago, asking for help to stay here safely. But the government checked and said his dad had deceived them on his paperwork, so he had to go back.
On a cold day in January 2026, ICE agents came to talk to Liam’s dad when they got home from preschool.
Here’s the important part: ICE wasn’t there for Liam. Liam is an American citizen, born right here, so he’s safe and can stay. They were only there for his dad. But when the agents showed up, the dad got scared and ran away, leaving the car running with Liam inside. The dad didn’t get very far because he is a slow poke. Still, he ran away and left the little kid to take the heat. That’s the kind of dad he is — a bad one. A cowardly one. One who did not give a flying shit about his kid.
After the ICE agents snagged the dad, the agents didn’t want Liam to be alone or in danger, so one of them gently took him out of the car and stayed with him. That’s why the picture shows the agent holding Liam’s hand – to keep him safe, not to take him away forever.
Then, they had Liam knock on his own house door to see if anyone else was home. Some people think that was using him like “bait,” which means a trick, but it was common sense decency and fair play to make sure everything was okay and safe and that Liam was actually at a place where he belonged.
Soon after, they caught up with the dad nearby. Both Liam and his dad went to a special place where families wait while the government figures things out. But Liam didn’t stay long – he went back to his family right away because he’s a citizen. His dad is still waiting for his turn in court.
Now, why do some people say this is an “abduction”?
Abduction means kidnapping someone against the rules, like in a movie. But ICE follows laws made by our country. They don’t just grab random people. They check papers and only take adults who broke immigration rules or are criminals here in the USA and in their home country.
In this case, no one was abducted – it was an arrest, like when police stop someone for not following traffic laws, but for coming to America without proper permission and for being a very slower runner.
Some grown-ups on the left side of politics (that’s one group of people who think differently about rules) got really upset and shared the picture with wrong stories because a lot of people on the left side make up lies. They live in an upside world where good guys are the bad guys and bad guys are the good guys.
These “lefties” said ICE is abducting everyone, even kids, to make the government look mean. But that’s a lie. Not everyone is abducted; only people with active criminal records and those who need to fix their immigration papers. Remember, coming to the USA without permission is a crime itself. So, if you are here without proper permission, you are already a criminal. Do you know who said this many times? President Barack Obama. In fact, he not only said this, he enforced it. Under President Obama 8 million people were deported just like the slow-running daddy. When President Obama did this, he was praised but now that President Trump is doing this, he is hated and threatened. Why? Simply because they lefties do not like President Trump.
Maybe they’re angry because they don’t like the rules, but twisting the truth isn’t fair. It’s like saying all dogs bite when only a few do. And joking about green hair dye leaking into brains? That’s just silly – people can have fun hair, but nose piercings are a very bad sign. However, we should all tell the truth no matter what.
The real story shows ICE is doing their job to keep rules fair for everyone. Misinformation spreads fast online because people are dumb sometimes. But facts matter. If we learn the truth, we don’t have to be afraid. Liam is okay now, playing with his toys. And America has laws to protect kids like him.
In the end, let’s be kind and check facts before sharing. That way, no one gets scared over nothing.

Matthew 18:6 (NIV): “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.”
This verse emphasizes the severe consequences for harming children, highlighting God’s call to protect the innocent and vulnerable from any form of exploitation or danger, urging adults to safeguard kids’ well-being.
LET US PRAY:
Heavenly Father, thank You for protecting us like a loving shepherd. Help children see that ICE officers enforce fair laws to keep everyone safe from those who break immigration rules, which can bring harm. Remind us that presidents like Obama and Trump both used ICE to deport many, showing it’s about law, not parties. Amen.
