While Boston does not isolate a standalone taxpayer dollar figure for the citywide expansion, they voted to stock all public restrooms (including men’s and all-gender). Their taxpayers paid $40,000 for the first year of setup and $7,300 annually to maintain the program citywide. In other words, money that could be put to real use is being wasted to fulfill a fantasy and a delusion, Most of the menstrual products will be stolen by biological men who will sell it on the street for drugs and alcohol.
There was a time in the history of our Republic when a municipal government’s chief concerns were the repair of potholes, the collection of refuse, and the maintenance of public safety. If you lived in Boston, Massachusetts, you expected the city to plow the snow and keep the T running.
Those days are officially dead. The cradle of liberty has officially transformed into the cradle of institutionalized delusion.
The latest testament to our ruling class’s total psychological collapse comes courtesy of Boston Mayor Michelle Wu’s Office of LGBTQ+ Advancement. This week, this august body of bureaucratic elites is hosting an official event titled “Trans Period Pride.” The purpose? To use your hard-earned taxpayer dollars to host a public discussion on “menstrual equity” and the lived experiences of “transgender menstruators.”
Let us pause, clear our throats, and state the absolute, unyielding biological truth that every single person reading this knows in their bones, even if they are currently too terrified of the human resources department to say it out loud: Men do not menstruate. They cannot menstruate. They have never menstruated in the entire history of the hominid lineage.
To suggest otherwise is not a progressive evolution of human thought; it is a profound, aggressive form of biological illiteracy. Menstruation is not a lifestyle choice, a state of mind, or a fashionable accessory you can adopt by changing your pronouns. It is a specific, immutable phase of the female reproductive cycle, governed by an intricate dance of ovaries, a uterus, and a cervix. A human being without those organs can no more menstruate than a horse can lay a chicken egg.
Yet, the city of Boston is currently treating this objective physical impossibility as a pressing matter of public policy. We have officially crossed the event horizon into a state-sponsored mass hysteria.
What, pray tell, is the next logical step in this circus? Shall the taxpayers of Boston fund a community outreach seminar on the critical importance of annual pap smears for transgender women? Will Mayor Wu’s office allocate a municipal grant to study the prevalence of cervical cancer in biological males who possess no cervix? Why stop there? Perhaps the Boston Fire Department can begin checking men for ovarian cysts, or the local public schools can start handing out prostate exam guidelines to teenage girls.
If it sounds completely unhinged, that is because it is. We are witnessing the total surrender of the American Left to a form of ideological madness so severe that it requires the literal inversion of reality just to maintain its internal logic. To appease a microscopic vanguard of hyper-sensitive activists, an entire major American metropolis has agreed to pretend that the basic biology taught to middle school students for centuries is suddenly a malicious lie.
The ultimate tragedy here isn’t just the insult to human intelligence; it is the utter contempt shown for the working-class citizens of Boston. While the city infrastructure decays, while housing prices skyrocket, and while actual, pressing municipal crises go unaddressed, the local government is busy playing pretend with biology on the public dime.
The “Trans Period Pride” event is a monument to an elite class that has completely lost its mind. It deserves no respect, no serious academic debate, and absolutely no public funding. It deserves only one thing: to be mocked without mercy until the adults finally walk back into the room, turn off the microphones, and tell these clowns to go home.
