The cultural divide between regular working Americans and the Hollywood elite has officially transformed into a canyon.
For decades, regular citizens have been expected to nod along, hand over their hard-earned money at the box office, and quietly absorb the moral lecturing of people who live in places that make gated compounds look like slums. But the patience of the average American has worn completely thin. The childish behavior, the unearned moral superiority, and the sheer hostility coming from the entertainment industry’s most prominent figures have turned the public entirely against them.
Take, for example, Julia Roberts, now an old hag, and her recent public remarks about “breathing in love and breathing out” negativity. It is the peak of multi-millionaire absurdity. Regular folks are currently struggling to pay for groceries, manage utility bills, and keep gas in their tanks. Yet, a Hollywood superstar takes the microphone to offer hollow, superficial platitudes that sound like they were pulled straight from a luxury wellness spa brochure. It is completely out of touch with the daily realities of regular life. This kind of tone-deaf lecturing highlights just how insulated these celebrities have become from the actual struggles of the people they look down upon. Moreover, the fans they still have deserve them. They’re just as mentally sick and deficient.
Then there is Jane Fonda, a walking mummy, a figure whose long history of political antics has alienated millions of patriotic Americans for decades. She has built an entire career on criticizing the very nation that granted her the freedom, wealth, and platform to live like royalty. She actively enjoys a lavish lifestyle of immense privilege while continuously taking swipes at American values and the foundations of the country. It is a staggering double standard. The sheer hypocrisy of living as a member of the ultra-wealthy elite while simultaneously biting the hand of the nation that fed your success is exactly why so many citizens have grown to resent the celebrity class. Her own father couldn’t stand her.
We see this same pattern of hostility in Robert De Niro, whose public appearances have devolved into bitter, angry rants. Rather than offering art, substance, or measured commentary, his public outbursts have become increasingly erratic and aggressive. It is a sad spectacle to watch a veteran actor (who could only play one character) completely abandon dignity in favor of raw, unhinged hostility against the chosen leaders of regular Americans and the president. This constant barrage of anger reveals a deep-seated contempt for the ordinary citizens who do not share Hollywood’s narrow political worldview.
The reality is that these figures are completely blind to their own impending irrelevance. They act as if their opinions carry divine weight, failing to see that the world is rapidly moving past them.
Innovation waits for no one. The rise of sophisticated Artificial Intelligence is already changing the landscape of entertainment. Soon, the industry will have very little need for highly paid, dramatic actors who use their platforms to insult the public. AI-driven entertainment will offer custom content without the baggage of massive egos, demanding contracts, and constant political lecturing. The very industry they rule is on the verge of a massive shift, and their status as untouchable cultural elite is rapidly expiring.
Hollywood completely forgets a basic rule of business: you cannot continuously alienate, insult, and mock your audience and expect them to keep supporting you. Regular Americans are tired of the childish lectures. They are tired of the hypocrisy. The days of looking up to celebrities as cultural guides are completely over, and the elite have nobody to blame for their downfall but themselves.
If you celebrate these people, or any of the dozens like them, there is something wrong with you. I’m telling you as a public service.

Why I Chose This Verse:
This verse perfectly captures the current state of the Hollywood elite. For years, these individuals have operated with supreme arrogance, believing their wealth and fame make them superior to ordinary citizens. They look down on regular Americans with a haughty spirit, entirely blind to their own flaws and the changing world around them. This scripture reminds us that unbridled pride is unsustainable and ultimately leads to a loss of influence, relevance, and respect.
A Prayer for Clarity and Peace
Heavenly Father,
We come to You seeking peace and clarity in a loud and chaotic world. Please give us the wisdom to see through the hollow words, false promises, and arrogance of those who claim to know what is best for us. Protect our hearts from anger and bitterness, and help us focus our minds on what is true, honest, and just.
We ask You to bless our nation and guide our president with strength, discernment, and courage to lead us through difficult times. Keep our families grounded in truth, shield us from the distractions of a superficial culture, and let Your peace rule in our lives today and always.
