By Daiman Teer for The Simpleton Star
The modern American justice system in our major municipal centers is no longer designed to protect the innocent. It has been twisted into a taxpayer-funded shield for the violent, the predatory, and the lawless. We are witnessing a systemic, ideological betrayal where activist judges and sanctuary city politicians deliberately prioritize the comfort of repeat offenders and illegal predators over the literal survival of the citizens they swore an oath to protect.
The playbook is as predictable as it is sickening. A violent criminal—often an individual who has repeatedly violated our borders or cycled through our local precinct holding cells—is arrested for an assault or a weapon offense. Instead of being held behind bars or handed directly to federal immigration authorities, they are brought before a left-wing magistrate. Schooled in the subversive doctrines of “cashless bail” and progressive judicial empathy, these judges look at a rap sheet of prior offenses and see a victim of societal failure rather than a ticking time bomb. With the stroke of a pen, they release them back onto the street.

The cost of this cowardice is measured in the blood of innocent people. It is paid by young women raped in public parks, by grandmothers shoved onto subway tracks, and by families shattered in an instant by monsters who never should have been breathing free air. When a sanctuary city judge ignores a lawful federal detainer or a prosecutor refuses to demand high bail for a violent felon, they are not acting out of compassion. They are acting out of an arrogant, deeply ideological malice that sacrifices innocent human lives on the altar of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion dogmas.
Let us be completely unsparing in our assessment: these judges are not neutral arbiters of the law. They are functional accomplices to the rapes and murders that follow their signatures. If a private citizen knowingly unlocked a cage containing a rabid animal and let it loose into a schoolyard, they would be arrested and charged. Yet, when an activist in a black robe unlocks the prison doors for a serial offender who goes on to slaughter a young girl hours later, the judge retreats to a gated community, entirely immune from the carnage they unleashed.
This immunity must end. The politicians who draft these shield laws and the judges who execute them must be held civilly and criminally liable as accessories to the subsequent crimes. We must strip them of their judicial shields. If they choose to let a predator walk, they should be forced to share his cell when that predator strikes again.
The defining sickness of our current political class is that no one in power seems to care until the blade is at their own throat. The insulated elite who run these decaying blue cities lecture the public about tolerance while navigating the world with private security details. But one has to wonder: what if it were their world that was broken? What if it were their daughter who was hunted down, violated, and left to die on the asphalt by a violent criminal they willfully cut loose? Would their devotion to progressive bail reform survive the sight of their own child’s casket?

The reality is that these radical ideologues would abandon their hollow virtues in a heartbeat if the consequences of their decisions knocked on their own front doors. They tolerate the slaughter of the working class because they view the victims as statistics and the criminals as political projects. It is a level of moral rot that deserves nothing less than utter ruin. These judges do not deserve the honor of the bench; they deserve to rot in the very cells they emptied, subjected to the exact same lawless terror they have inflicted upon the American public.

The Scriptural Verdict
“Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.”
— Ecclesiastes 8:11
The Reason for This Verse:
This passage cuts directly to the psychological truth of our current crisis. When radical judges eliminate consequences, they do not rehabilitate the criminal; they validate them. By failing to execute swift, unyielding justice, the state signals to the predator that the laws of man are empty threats. It turns an institutional failure into a license to kill, ensuring that the hearts of evil men remain fully set on destruction because they no longer fear the rod of the law.
A Prayer for Divine Justice
Almighty God, True and Righteous Judge of the cosmos,
We lift our eyes to You in an hour of lawlessness and profound betrayal. We pray for the innocent who walk our streets in peril, and for the families whose hearts have been irreparably broken by the cowardice of earthly rulers.
Lord, we ask that You tear down the shields of arrogance protecting these unjust judges and complicit politicians. Where human laws offer them immunity, let Your divine law find them out. Strip them of their rationalizations, expose their corruption to the light of day, and let them face the terrifying weight of their own decisions.
We pray that You render absolute, unyielding justice unto these magistrates who have traded the blood of the innocent for political favor. Let them know no peace until they are held to account for every life they have cut short and every soul they have abandoned to the wicked. Bring swift judgment upon those who call evil good and good evil, and restore righteousness to a nation cast into darkness by the blind leaders of the blind.
In Your Holy Name, we pray.
Amen.
