BY: DAIMAN TEER for THE SIMPLETON STAR

To observe the current political landscape of Massachusetts is to witness an exercise in grotesque, erratic motion. Governance requires a steady foot, a balanced stride, and a clear view of the moral horizon. Instead, the Commonwealth is subjected to a leadership style defined by unpredictable bounds, reckless pocket-picking, and a total disregard for the ground on which it lands. It is for this reason that the current governor has earned a specific, undeniable designation: she operates not as a statesman, but as an unapologetic, hyper-ideological zealot whose agenda centers on the absolute destruction of the most innocent. She does not merely sign policies; she basks in the glory of expanding abortion, celebrating the end of unborn life as if it were a high-stakes sporting victory.
To understand why this administration embodies such horrific moral breakdown, one must look past the bureaucratic jargon and stare directly into the sanctuary it seeks to destroy. The womb was designed by God to be the ultimate fortress—a sacred, quiet place of warmth, safety, and silent development. Under this administration’s doctrine, that sanctuary is converted into a chamber of absolute terror. Good lawmaking is a deliberate process of protecting the vulnerable, but this governor’s legislative execution begins and ends with the unborn.
Her agenda is a frantic, disjointed campaign to ensure that no barrier stands between a child and its termination. Policies are rushed through not because they are rooted in long-term structural reality, but because they provide a quick, bloody trophy for progressive public relations. Skip over regulatory frameworks, leap over the moral objections of local communities, ignore the medical reality of what is being destroyed—this is governance by frantic, uncoordinated mid-air leaps. It is this exact behavior—unsteady, reactive, and perpetually airborne—that defines her true status.

Furthermore, this unhinged approach is sustained by a deep-seated devotion to the “kangaroo church”—an ideological sanctuary where critical thinking is abandoned in favor of blind, collective bouncing. Within this insular, radical circle, policies are judged entirely by how far they go in dismantling traditional morality. The governor reigns as the high priestess of this doctrine, surrounded by sycophants who applaud every horrific directive as a sign of progress. Remaining inside this echo chamber ensures that the state will continue to mimic the wild, uncoordinated jumps of a moral marsupial, completely detached from the sanctity of human life.
The tragic irony of this entire administration is that despite her grandstanding on women’s rights and healthcare, her fanatical commitment to expanding abortion access has inflicted a level of destruction that defies comprehension. It is a total abdication of the primary duty of any government: the protection of human life.
A state cannot be governed from a state of mid-air suspension, nor can a society long endure when its leaders make a sport out of violence in the womb. The continuous cycle of jumping from one expand-abortion bill to the next must come to a halt. The governor must abandon the erratic doctrines of her ideological church, plant her feet on reality, and face the sobering truth of what she has wrought.

Scripture Reflection
Psalm 139:13–16 (NIV)
“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”
Why This Scripture Was Chosen
Psalm 139 stands as the ultimate theological baseline against the culture of death. It establishes that human life is not an accident of biology or a convenient political debate, but an intentional, divine creation engineered by God in the “secret place.” In the context of The Simpleton Star‘s critique, this passage serves as a stark, unyielding mirror to state policy: while the governor treats the unborn as disposable political leverage, Almighty God treats them as fearfully and wonderfully made works of art.
A Prayer for the Unborn
Heavenly Father, Creator and Sustainer of all Life,
We pray today for the silent, defenseless children resting in the sanctuary of the womb. Protect them from the dark doctrines of a culture that views their existence as an inconvenience. Shield them from legislative violence and grant them the simple, God-given right to take their first breath.
We pray for the leaders of Massachusetts and across this nation. Break through the blindness of political ambition, shatter the walls of the ideological echo chambers, and soften hearts that have hardened against the most innocent among us. Touch the minds of our lawmakers with true conviction, that they may turn away from destruction and stand up as defenders of life.
Give strength to mothers in crisis, grant courage to those who speak truth to power, and heal our land of this profound moral failure.
In Your Holy Name we pray,
Amen.
