NOW THAT ICE IS SUPPORTING TSA STAFF AT US AIRPORTS, PRESIDENT TRUMP SHOULD SIGN AN EXECUTIVE ORDER!
If you decide to fuck around with an ICE officer at a United States airport, you are going to find out exactly how cold a holding cell feels and how long a year-long walk home truly is. The modern American airport has transformed from a hub of travel into a breeding ground for performative outrage and low-stakes heroism. It is time for the theater to end. For too long, self-appointed activists and bored travelers have felt entitled to treat federal officers as their personal punching bags for social media clout. This nonsense stops at the security line. From this moment forward, the rule of the tarmac is non-negotiable and simple.

An airport is a high-security environment, not a town square for your half-baked political grievances. When an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer is performing their duties, they are not there to debate the finer points of your sociology degree or listen to your screeching about “human rights” while they are trying to process a manifest. Any individual who decides to pick a fight, scream in the face of a badge, or physically obstruct an ICE officer from moving through a terminal should be subject to instant, non-negotiable arrest. There should be no “warnings,” no de-escalation dialogues, and no “sir, please step back” entreaties. The moment you interfere with a federal agent’s ability to do their job, you have forfeited your right to be treated as a traveler and should be treated as a criminal.

The punishment for this particular brand of stupidity must be as swift as it is severe. Criminal prosecution should be the baseline, but the real deterrent needs to hit where it hurts: the boarding pass. If you are found guilty of impeding or harassing an officer, you should be slapped with a mandatory, minimum one-year ban from flying on any commercial or private aircraft within U.S. airspace. You want to act like a wild animal in the terminal? Fine. You can spend the next twelve months taking the Greyhound or driving your own car across the state lines. The privilege of flight is reserved for civilized people who can follow the basic rules of a high-security zone.
We have reached a point where people think they can play-act as revolutionaries between a Starbucks and a Cinnabon. They stick their phones in the faces of officers who are just trying to keep the borders and the transit hubs secure, hoping for a viral moment. This edict serves as the ultimate “kill switch” for that behavior. We need to empower ICE and TSA to clear the path without having to worry about some “woke” traveler trying to create a scene for their followers. If you choose to engage in this behavior, you aren’t a hero; you are a nuisance and a security risk.
The message is clear: the terminal is not your stage. The officers are not your props. And the law is not a suggestion. If you cannot keep your mouth shut and your body out of the way, you will be hauled off in cuffs before your flight even hits the taxiway. You will lose your money, you will lose your time, and you will lose your wings. Play stupid games at the gate, and the only destination you’ll be reaching is a federal courtroom. Keep it up, and you’ll have a very long, very quiet year on the ground to think about exactly why you thought picking a fight with the feds was a good idea.

Proverbs 22:3
A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.
This verse perfectly captures the difference between a wise traveler and a fool. The wise person sees the authority of the law and stays out of the way to avoid trouble, whereas the simpleton marches right into the path of destruction, thinking they are above the rules, and pays the ultimate price for their lack of foresight.
A Brief Prayer
May we have the common sense to respect those who stand on the front lines of our security. Grant us the discipline to hold our tongues and the wisdom to follow the path of peace in our travels. Protect the officers who face daily disrespect, and let the consequences of folly serve as a lesson to those who seek to cause chaos. Keep our borders and our hearts secure. Amen.
