Xi’s Petty Tariff Tantrum: He’s Very Jealous Over Trump’s Middle East Wins

Xi Jinping, China’s leader, is upset because Donald Trump just got international attention and praise for helping to bring peace to Israel and to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

In the past few days, Donald Trump made history in the Middle East with peace deals like the Abraham Accords. These agreements got Israel, the UAE, Bahrain, and others to work together, boosting trade and calming tensions. Even Saudi Arabia started joining in. It’s a big deal—fewer conflicts, more business, stronger U.S. alliances.

Xi has nothing like it to elevate himself on the world stage. Instead of competing, he hit back with tariffs on American goods. It’s not about helping China. It’s about spoiling Trump’s diplomatic success in the Middle East. In a word, Xi is jealous of Trump’s work in the Middle-East so he raised his tariffs to distract the world.

This peace accord is so monumental that even Hillary Clinton, Trump’s biggest rival, had to publicly acknowledge this achievement as something no one ever thought could be done. It’s possible that she didn’t want to say anything nice, but she kind of congratulated Trump nonetheless.

Other world leaders chimed in too — praising Trump and even suggesting that he deserved the Nobel Prize for peace. Of course the leader in China, where everything is covered in black dust, didn’t mention a word about this Peace Accord because, like we said, he’s jealous.

It’s very sad because none of this is the fault of the Chinese people. They are ordinary human beings like me and you, but they live in fear of their leaders in government. In China, they have this thing called a “Social Credit System” which is kind of like a report card of their entire lives. If you live in China and your social credit score is bad, your life is bad too.

Let me explain.

China’s Social Credit System is like a game score for how people behave. The government watches what you do with cameras and apps.

Good stuff you do, like paying bills or riding quietly on the train, raises your score. Bad stuff, like breaking rules even simple things like jaywalking, lowers it. High scores get you cool things, like cheap bus rides. Low scores can stop you from traveling.

Example: Kai’s score is 800. He helps a friend, so it goes to 810—yay, he gets a train ticket discount! But if he forgets to throw out his garbage on time, his score drops to 780. Now he can’t fly on a plane or get a ticket for a ride at an amusement park. He tries to follow rules to keep his score up.

China’s economy relies on factories where ordinary people work very long hours for little pay. Xi runs it like a strict boss, with tight rules and constant monitoring. These factories make clothes, tech, and even the wigs that Americans buy for style or necessity. It’s true. All those wigs and weaves you see are almost always made in Chinese factories where people work for very low wages. Those sales help to keep China’s economy going. Without them, Xi would be in big financial trouble.

Trump’s tariffs—up to 100% on Chinese goods like steel and cars—help American workers. They’ve brought jobs back to the USA, with factories running strong. Xi didn’t like that because for years and years China has been robbing the USA and flooding the Western World with cheap junk. Joe Biden let China get away with it because he was a weak leader and he was afraid of China.

CHINA IS THE ONE IN YELLOW

Xi, because he wanted to steal attention from Trump’s big win in the Middle East, slapped 125% tariffs on U.S. soybeans, cars, and more.

It’s not about fixing his economy. It’s about making things harder for Americans. These tariffs raise prices on groceries, car parts, and just about everything.

Chinese factories and production companies also breaks rules of business. Some of these rules involve serious international laws and some of these rules are just good honest business practice. China doesn’t follow any rules. It’s like they live on a distant planet where everything is shady and sketchy.

Xi’s factories ignore copyright and trademark laws, copying American designs for shoes, phones, and even wigs. Many Americans, caring more about their own image, will gladly buy a fake Gucci dress from China or fake Prada shoes. They forget that this is not fair to anyone.

Noah Scott, a wig designer for the Hollywood stars, has a company called WhatWigs. All of his wigs have been copied by Chinese companies, but instead of the high quality wigs made by Noah Scott, they are cheap polyester Halloween wigs that are advertised online using photos from Noah Scott’s website and social media. That is 100% illegal, but China does it 24 hours a day.

NOAH SCOTT – HE DESIGNS WIGS

This is the kind of shady stuff that China does, but Americans are suckers and they either end up with junk when they buy from Chinese websites, or they walk around with a Gucci bag that’s a copy and pretend that they are wealthy.

This stealing costs U.S. businesses billions. It’s not fair competition—it’s cheating. American creators, just like Noah Scott, lose money while China’s factories profit off their ideas. On a bigger scale, like cars and expensive computer parts, come from China — and they suck.

Trump’s Middle East deals show what leadership looks like: getting enemies to talk, building trade, reducing chaos. Xi offers no such wins, just disputes and factories. His tariffs hurt everyone—Americans pay more, and China’s growth slows. It’s a losing move.

It’s important to understand that world leaders can lose sight of what’s right. Xi’s tariffs are a jealous jab at Trump, not a plan. Trump builds peace; Xi picks fights. If we let this continue, we’ll all face higher costs. America needs leaders who make deals, not grudges.

Let’s call out Xi’s spite and support real wins.
