The American people, especially those on the left, struggle to recognize a simple truth. Immigration enforcement remains immigration enforcement, no matter who sits in the White House.
Illegal immigration gets handled in different styles, some with a softer touch and others more direct, but the core purpose stays the same. The goal is to deport those who break our laws, with a strong focus on removing criminals who pose real threats to our communities.
Under past administrations, deportations hit record highs. Millions were removed, including families and individuals without serious records, but the emphasis often fell on prioritizing dangerous offenders. This approach kept borders secure and upheld the rule of law. Yet today, when enforcement ramps up under a leader like President Trump, suddenly it becomes a scandal. Critics label it cruel or extreme, ignoring that the same mechanisms were in play before. The difference lies not in the policy but in the politics. Hatred for Trump fuels the outrage against these efforts. People who once overlooked or even supported similar actions now condemn them because they associate them with the guy they hate.
If Vice President Harris or another Democrat held power, the story would change entirely. Enforcement might slow to a trickle, allowing illegal entries to surge without consequence. Borders could remain porous, with little action against those who cross unlawfully. Or, if deportations did occur, the media would downplay them. Biased reporting would bury the facts, framing any removals as compassionate or necessary exceptions rather than systemic policy. Outlets that scream about family separations under one president would stay silent under another. This double standard protects Democrats while demonizing Republicans, letting the left pretend their side handles immigration with humanity.
The reality exposes this hypocrisy. Illegal immigration drains resources, burdens schools and hospitals, and enables crime. Criminals among the undocumented commit murders, assaults, and drug trafficking that devastate American families. Enforcing the law means targeting these threats first, then addressing others who flout our sovereignty. Without consistent deportation, chaos reigns. Communities suffer higher costs, lost jobs, and eroded trust in government.
The left’s blindness stems from tribal loyalty. They cannot admit that strong borders benefit everyone, including legal immigrants who follow the rules. Instead, they weaponize emotion, calling enforcement racist or fascist to score points against opponents. This mindset weakens the nation. It ignores how unvetted migration invites exploitation by cartels and human traffickers. True security demands accountability, not open doors.

Americans deserve leaders who enforce laws uniformly, without favoritism. Deporting illegals, especially criminals, protects citizens and upholds justice. The resistance we see now reflects not principled disagreement but partisan venom. If the roles reversed, with a Democrat pushing mass removals, the cheers would echo from the same voices that boo today. Time to face facts: immigration control serves America, not just one party. Only by dropping the hate can we build a system that works for all.

James 2:1-4 (NIV) “My brothers and sisters, believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ must not show favoritism. Suppose a man comes into your meeting wearing a gold ring and fine clothes, and a poor man in filthy old clothes also comes in. If you show special attention to the man wearing fine clothes and say, ‘Here’s a good seat for you,’ but say to the poor man, ‘You stand there’ or ‘Sit on the floor by my feet,’ have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?”
This verse condemns hypocrisy through prejudice and partiality—treating people differently based on bias rather than impartial justice. It illustrates how people apply rules unevenly due to personal dislike or favoritism, condemning one while excusing or ignoring the same in another, exactly as seen when immigration enforcement is accepted under one leader but vilified under another due to partisan hatred.
LET UP PRAY
Heavenly Father, open the eyes of those blinded by prejudice and hatred. Help them see that Your laws and our nation’s rules remain unchanging, regardless of who leads. Remove the log of hypocrisy from their vision so they judge actions fairly, not leaders with bias. Grant understanding that rules are rules—enforce them justly without favoritism. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
